Nautical Enterprise provides consultancy on enhancing port and terminal operations from a strategic and operational perspective.
Nautical Enterprise co-ordinated the TRAPIST project (Tools and Routines to Assist Ports and Improve Shipping) from 2002-2004 that provided support tools that enable ports to enhance the efficiency of their operations and to optimise the planning, management and use of their resources with an emphasis on small-to-medium ports. Thus studies on ’Planning for Change in Small-to-Medium Ports’ and ’Improving Trade and Transport between Dublin Port and Mainland Europe’, which examined and compared various alternatives for the improvement of trade and transport between Dublin Port and Mainland Europe.
Nautical Enterprise has also produced Strategic Development Plans for three fishing / leisure harbours on the South Coast of Ireland: Baltimore, Ballycotton and Youghal.
